Even though a lot of people still write letters and send postcards today, not nearly as many people spend the time/money needed to do this. This is a different age (electronic age), and things like pen and paper for letters have been replaced by keyboards and a modem to send e-mails. There's just something special about receiving a letter in the mail though, isn't there? It seems a lot more personal...it means someone took the time to go get stamps and an envelope, and then write out what they had to say. Then again, maybe I'm just weird =] |
